Re: Dish Network High Speed Internet?

If its like D-Tv's it will cost a fortune ... I will check into it ... it may be like what Direct is doing here in Des Moines ... offering Hi speed but then partnering with Qwest DSL and as you know is not available out in the sticks usually ... DirectWay is very expensive and if Dish tries something like that I can guarantee you it will cost a small fortune every month ... but when the alternatives are narrowed to just that ...

I'd love to have DIRECWAY, but like Steve said, WAY to darn expensive, both for the equipment, and the monthly service. And William is right, DISH customer service does stink, I had forgot we went to DIRECTV because of that

I went to direct tv from dish because they dropped the outdoor channel. Don't know if they got it back.

I've had the Outdoor Channel through Dish Network for the last 11 years. They haven't dropped it any time during that period. confused.gif

They do have lousy customer service and their satellite internet is waaaaaaaay pricey. It's like $500 or $600 for the equipment and $60/month. shocked.gif I ain't interested.

Re: Dish Network High Speed Internet?

We have high speed cable internet now and it's alright, but not worth near the $50 a month we pay for it.Half the time it doesn't even work. Our new house won't have cable available,so I was wandering what we should get too.We did have Direct TV for about a year and I thought it was a good deal, but I'm not sure on their internet. Is theirs like Dish where you have to buy a bunch of equipment?
