Re: Since it\'s slow

Here is my biggest deer and first. He is a pretty nice 6 pointer weighing in at about 180lbs field dressed. I got him in 2002 on the first weekend of the firearm season. I was just 12 years old. The 30-30 barked at 8:15 A.M. and that was it for him. He isn't the biggest buck in the woods, but one very special one to me. I have plenty of years left to look for that "monster buck".

My best. 141 7/8, typical 10. That's my buddy Steve in the picture, I shot it on his property. Shot it December 27th, 1998 with my Golden Eagle Evolution.

Here's the last deer I shot. November 2nd, 2005 with my Mathews Legacy. He scores right around 119-122, depending on who you talk to. He dressed at 225# tongue.gif

Re: Since it\'s slow

I think this is my best buck to date. Got this fella 4 years ago, and he made the Vancouver Island record book.

I got another 5x5 blacktail quite a few years ago (around 19 years ago) that I think might have been as big or bigger, but I don't have the antlers any more. frown.gif

Re: Since it\'s slow

I shot my biggest buck this year, its a result of a good QDM plan that we have been running for 3 years now and still going. Shot him at about 60 yards with a 12 gauge slug gun, dropped him on the spot. He is a 10-pointer with a split brow. His right g2 and g4 are broke off but still over an inch. Scores aroung 121 B&C.
