mossyhorn
I bought the H.S. Strut Eddie Salter's Bad Boy 2 call. I noticed that when I use the call one way it makes a raspy call. I flip it and it makes a high pitch call. The high pitch side almost sounds too high pitched to me. Now is this call designed to flip or is it that the bottom reed adds to the quality of sound? woodsman2230
Re: question about new call I believe it is only a one sided call. The side with the little bump on it goes down. At least thats the way that I use them.

Hoyt03
Re: question about new call That is a one sided call. The bump on the frame is meant to go down, and also the longest reed is usually on top. But with those hs calls the bump goes down. They make sound on both sides but using it upside down basically gives you just a straight reeded call and always sound very high pitched. The raspy sound is what your looking for.
