Rifle sling question

I'm on the hunt for a rifle sling for my new BLR. Since they do not make anymore the sling I bought for my .30-.30 five years ago, I am on a misson to find something new. I am looking at the Claw Contour, do any of you own one? Or would you like to recommend a comfortable non-slip sling?

Or maybe you know where I can find my old sling? I don't remember it's name. They used to advertise on the Outdoor Channel all the time. It is an elastic sling. It's kind of like a big rubber band and it really stays put. I really like it and I wish I could find another.

Thanks

Ranger

Re: Rifle sling question

The only sling I use these days is the Butler Creek Alaskan Magnum Rifle Sling. It is my favorite sling from military slings, cobra type slings, padded leather slings, etc. It stretches and makes the gun feel much lighter at the end of the day compared to other slings. I also like the ammo loops. I only carry a few rounds with me when I hunt, so it keeps the ammo from clinking together in my pocket.
