I bought a King Quad 700 last June and now my wife is look in to getting her a four wheeler. She likes the Bombardier 400 but I think it is lot to put into a 4 wheeler especially a 400. I got a quote at around $7000 and thats almost what I paid for a 700. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Re: Help me and my wife!!!

wow. i have heard that the Can Am parts and service are hard to come by. but i had no idea that the 400 was that expensive. if you are lookin to spend that kind of money check out the Grizzly 660 or the Griz 700. people say the power steering is useless but after they ride one with it they dont want to go without it. the grizzlies have a very soft suspension. i have a 660 and i couldnt be happier. also if she doesnt want that big of a bike check out the grizzly 350 and 450. if you have any other questions just pm me and ill get as much info as i can. i eat, sleep, and dream 4-wheelers so ill do everything i can to help more people get into the sport.

Welcome to Realtree. smile.gif

I bought an 05 Kodiak 400 4x4 brand new in Sep 05 for $5100. I really like it and it's a little smaller frame vehicle than the big fellas. I'd also check out a Honda Rancher.

Can't go wrong with a Honda. cool.gif

If you all ride together, she may not need a 4x4.

Re: Help me and my wife!!!

thanks for all the options guys. i've offered to get her king quad 450 but she has her heart set on the bombardier 400, and i have my eyes on going broke!!! $7000 is alot to pay for a 400 and thats for the single seater.

Re: Help me and my wife!!!

you might want to check on the weight of the Can-Am since i couldnt find anything. the heavier they are the harder its goin to be to steer and she woudlnt like that. i would seriously steer you towards yamaha like i said earlier. you could get her a brand new grizzly 660 for the price of the Can-am 400

  • 3 weeks later...

Take a look around at some of the used ATV's floating around the market. I know that the new can-am quads can cost and $$$$$$$ to fix and take lots of time to get them because they are almost a brand new machine/ compaired to last years modle. Go with a Kodiak 450....they are good atvs and if you watch the new CAN-AM sales add Yamaha is one of the only quad companies not in it....thats because they wooped all over the bombs last year. I'm studyin sales managment in college and the number one thing no one is ever supose to do is to show a competitor that is better...or at least to spin it in a diff way.
