Guest IllinoisMackDaddyHunter
Anyone have any trips planned this upcoming hunting season. I'm going on my hunt to our favorite spot again with 2 other friends this year during the rut. We had a blast last year. It's always nice to be in deer camp with friends and family. Really makes things easier when someone puts down a sweet deer and you have the extra help tracking, dragging, etc. Really cool cause we actually camp at a state park and drive to our stands or drop off other hunters on the way. Nice to see everyone working hard together and sitting by the fire telling stories (Lies) lol, and just having a good time. Good luck to all and good and safe hunting for years to come. Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: Planned trips this upcoming season! Whitetails in West Texas at my usual ranch. Put in for a draw in SE Colorado for mule deer, but I don't have any preference points, so it's unlikely I'll get drawn this time.

QDMAworks4me
Re: Planned trips this upcoming season! No out of state trips but we rent a cabin which has about a hundred acres we can hunt and it is right next to but not connecting my uncles property which we also hunt while we are down there. We usually go down once for bow season and once for late muzzleloader season. I may also go down on opening day of shotgun if I still have a buck tag. The land is about 3 hours south of my home. Rhino
Re: Planned trips this upcoming season! I'll be bowhunting in Illinois for 7 days this fall. Other than that, I'll go in the draw for a Kansas and an Iowa archery buck tag. If I happen to draw both of those, well lets just say I won't see much of Mississippi between the last week or so of October and Thanksgiving. Tom2008
Re: Planned trips this upcoming season! I'm going to Montana for sure this season during the rifle season. I applied for an A tag this year and am waiting to see the results. If I don't pull off an A tag I will go for anterless Mule Deer and Whitetail again. Guy came in down at the shop and said he has 3,000 acres and we are welcome to come.

elkoholic
I might head over to Idaho for a little deer hunting during the rut. Otherwise, I still have hopes for a limited entry tag in Utah in mid September during the elk rut.
