mule659
No big trips planned this year...cant afford that but every couple years lol. I will be going on our yearly bowhunting/camping weekend with a couple buddies this year here in Missouri as well as hunting all the normal private land here. I have several people at work that need their herds trimmed down a little bit so I will be some bowhunting of the "urban deer" this year as well. ruttinbuc
I'll be doing Illinois and Kansas with my bow all on the same trip. May even stop by Missouri with my rifle. May be the last opportunity I have to hunt the midwest. Might as well make the most of it.

wildside
Both my husband and I hunt, and with two young children, it can be tough. So, we take turns. One stays home with the kids while the other is out in the treestand. This bow season it is my turn, and I can hardly wait! It's very convenient that we literally walk out our back door to hunt . . . we live on over 7 acres that connect up to state land. So, no big trip, but my excitement is just as huge! Plus, it's always cozy at the end of a hunt to walk through the woods, smell the woodburner and see the warm lights of the house glowing. It's also cool to know that inside our home are 3 sets of ears eagerly awaiting to hear all about my stories from the stand!
