Get them while they last. Cheap feeders

Re: Get them while they last. Cheap feeders

Wow! There are some steals on there!

I make my own feeders but was wondering, the last feeder on the page, the deer have to use it in order for it to drop feed. How effective to you think this is? Does it take deer long to learn to use it?

Thanks,

Marijane

Re: Get them while they last. Cheap feeders

I have the type that the deer have to hit the rod to drop the corn or soybeans. It does take some time for them to get use to it but it saves alot of feed in the long run. I always put a pile of corn under it until the deer learn how to make it drop. They will hit it while eating the corn pile and it will drop so they will learn. I have gone more to the tripod feeders now so I can get the deer to move during the day. With that type of feeder they can come anytime day or night mostly night and eat. grin.gif
