They said on the website the jacket was on backorder for several weeks (6-7) and the H.S. vest like 1 week. Vest was due in like this past weekend, jacket not till May. I haven't heard anything else from them other than the confirmation of order email and they'll tell me when they ship. Are they going to hold my vest until the jacket comes in or will they ship the vest before the jacket? I really need the vest by May 1,lol, Jacket would be nice by then but oh well... If not it has not shipped yet. Far as the jacket, hate to say it, but they may cancel your order. Have not had good results on orders where items were backordered that far out. Last June I ordered some lure making supplies and had them shipped overnight. At Cabela's a lot of the AP and AGP stuff is on backorders, some up to 22+weeks, which is insane to even list that camo option if it's that much of a wait. If you try to get that jacket in a different camo you'd get it shipped instantly. I was looking at getting that same jacket in Advantage Timber instead and they told me they were instock in almost every size combination I tried out of curiosity. They also seem to have a lot of Hardwoods Grey HD they trying to push sales on that was driving me nuts seeing everything in Hardwoods Grey HD when I was looking for Hardwoods Green HD or Advantage Timber. I would call them get verbal confirmation on the backorder dates. You might be surprised it might now be 22+weeks backorder on some of the AP and APG stuff. DU_man_84 Posted April 12, 2007 Report Share Posted April 12, 2007 Re: Don\'t forget me Cabela\'s... this happens every year at cabelas, when spring roles around alot of things are being ordered, spring is one of cabelas biggest sales parts of the year, everyone is out getting all the new things that have come out and stocking up for next years hunting season cause of sales, but not only hunting, but everyone is buying all their fishing stuff too, they are always backed up this time of year, it is nothing new to me, you just got to give it time and it will come, guarentee sooner than later Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Vest is being shipped, jacket is still back ordered and not due there until May 25th. So I may be without the jacket for turkey season, but I'll hold out for a good jacket in RT AP. I ordered a the Whitetail Extreme parka and bibs, a few weeks before our rifle season. It got to my door late Saturday afternoon, rifle season started that following Monday! I made an order three days ago. Got a chair for my blind and a 2400 yard spool of mono. Both came today. The shipment was only due to be here on the 17th! If its in stock when you order, you usually have it fast! Good luck, but I would call them!
