beagleboy
I've been having a problem with my well and running out of water alot lately. Called a few well specialists and everyone said to have it hydrofractured and then I spoke to another specialist and he suggested surging the well. Has anyone ever had this done? Wondering what's the better route to take. Hydrofracting or surging?
mehunter
Re: Question for people with wells My parents used to run out of water frequently and they had them come in and did the hydro fracturing and never had another problem. Even in the middle of summer no more problems and that was probably 10 years ago.
Jeramie
Re: Question for people with wells Are you sure you're running out? If your foot valve is going out you will lose your prime and have to re prime all the time. A foot valve is CHEAP. I think they are something like $25 at Lowe's. The only problem is you have to pull the well. Oh btw, what type of well is it? Is it submersible pump?
