Its the same deal with TJmax! This time some SCUMBALL from NJ charged $422 at a Pathmark. Hope the kids are eating good! Hope the parents get e coli!!!  What I asked the person at my bank was this! Why didnt they just issue two new cards for our account instead of just my wifes! This way this whole thing could have been avoided! Told them they need to start doing this so no more cards get hacked!!!

LifeNRA
Bummer John How would/could that prevent hacking? The card numbers were being stored by TJMax, they got hacked! I bought one thing there back in Dec or Jan of 05-06. If both cards would have been replaced after we found out that my wifes card number was used. Then my card number would have been changed, thus not giving these idiots access to our money. I was just a little ticked that they did not figure this out on their own! Most couples have one checking account with two check cards to that account.
wtnhunt
That really stinks John. Does nto make any sense why the bank did not close the account on those cards and reopen with new account numbers when they knew there was a problem in the first place.
