craig mack
I watched it the other day. Pretty good video, they shoot alot of nice bucks. I believe a couple were over 170. Of course they are pushing another new product, I think theyre called the Rage broadhead. Whats up with them and expandables? All in all it was a good video to watch. 125py
Whats up with them and expandables? They like them b/c of the bigger cutting diameter, and they say that their recovery rate is much higher because of them.
Bowtech_archer07
Haven't seen it yet, but I plan on it. I like Drury productions.
Mirage
I like the dream season series. at first i hated it but now after I gave it some time I think its pretty good! As for mechnical broadheads I think they are great! nothing against ixed but I use the spitfires and they work great!
too_pointer
Thanks, I buy most of the Drury vids. It is nice to see two brothers on their farms shooting great deer. too_
MUDRUNNER
Drury vids are top notch! The do tend to push products alot, but that's with just about every hunting video..their just trying to make some money.I still buy what suits my needs the best. JDAWG
I like their videos also, however I don't like expandables. I went with slick tricks last year, I think they are the best broadheads I've shot.
too_pointer
I have been shooting slicktricks out of my x-bow for 5 years. They were one of the few to be very accurate and hold together on impact. Now back to Drury vids, love em The brothers are very entertaining. As far as their calls, I prefer most of the time, Primos Calls. I would love to have their farms and deer they have though too_
Huntress
I watch the reality Dream Season every day on the Outdoor Channel and love it! My mom says it's my Survivor. Lol... Two of my hunting buddies use Rage blades...one uses the 3 blade and one uses the 2 blades...the 3 blades are the ones to go with! Talk about a huge cuttin diameter! And, the deploy from the rear on contact with very little force needed (other expandables open from the front so they are already half entered in the deer when they begin to open). I will be picking some up before the fall!
too_pointer
Huntress, do you have any idea how much poundage out of your bow does it require to fully open the Rage broad heads ? too_
Huntress
No, I don't know. Both of my buddies are shootin somewhere in the 65-70# range. I am only at 45 now but hope to be at 55 by fall. On Gettin Close, Tiffany shoots 54# with Rages and they do well for her. Marijane
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
i'm a big fan of the drury videos....main reason is because you mostly see them hunt on their own land that they own or lease. you may have one or 2 hunts on a video where someone goes to an outfitter. they show more footage to, show them putting in foodplots, trail cam images or video of the deer they are after or of the ones in the area, and more footage of the actual hunt, not just "we are here at this outfitter" then 2 seconds later a huge deer comes in and they kill it. all of tat IMO is getting old...i like to see a little more work put into the hunt. Guest realtrhunter
I talked to the proshop here and they said that they have heard that even with 40lbs the rages will open. They also said that even if you dont get a pass through deer have been falling pretty quickly.
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
i went and picked this video up yesterday, good video once again by the drury brothers...i like how the show more than a close up of the hunter, 10 seconds later the deer comes in, and 5 seconds after that he shoots it. a few times i had to look and see which hunt i was on because some of the hunts are a good 15 minutes long...they show more than just the deer/shot/recovery, they give a little background as well....they also talk a lot about deer management and aren't afraid to show themselves taking a doe out...in one hunt, terry drury had a nice, 130-140 inch deer on the other side of the field, and while he was waiting for it to come to him, a doe stepped out in shooting range, and he elected to take the doe to help manage his herd. great video!! Thayer
Another vote for the Drury's here! Nothing like learning their management plans for their properties and seeing deer management in action! Love seeing the kids being involved too!
