NiteRunner
This is one of the Button Bucks that have been hanging around lately. Have a few other pics that show the Throat Patch but this was the best close up. At first I thought the camera flash might have gave him one but I'm pretty sure it's real now. Kinda cool cause now we can watch him grow since we can tell him apart from the rest. Anyone now if this is a common thing or some what uncommon? wtnhunt
That is cool Laura, have seen a few around here over the years. Got video of a 7 pointer here I passed up with the muzzleloader. I was so focussed on taping the deer, that I had not noticed he had a double white throat patch while filming. Found out when I loaded it on the computer the other day to start editing all my footage from last season. Soon as I finish editing all of it, and figure out how to cut the video into small individual files to upload, I will post some video clips. c_lou
Those are always cool to see. Don't know how common or uncommon it is.
Leo
The double throat patch is not common. Once you start looking for them you don't see very many. Ask a taxidermist in your area how many he has seen.
