coles
well sully and i took the boat out for the first time this year and we had some good luck and some bad. we were trolling for trout using small rapalas. i got the first bite and i could tell it was a big fish. i only fought him for a couple seconds before he broke my line. then we made another round and sully got a bite but lost it. after about another 20 mins sully got another bite and while he was fighting his i reeled mine in and hooked one but it got off. then after casting back out and trolling maybe 10 more minutes sully hooked another big one right in the same spot i hooked my first one that broke my line. well it ended up breaking his line too but it was crazy because the fish still kept jumping out of the water and fighting like he was on the end of the line when he wasnt. we figured it probably would have went 4 or 5lbs from the size of it. it was a rainbow too. that would have been a really nice fish. a keeper for sure. but here is a pic of the one that sully caught. the wind picked up so we headed home. i was mad too cuz i wanted to stay longer. sorry if this pic is sideways. if someone could flip it i would appreciate it. Texan_Til_I_Die
Sounds like a fun trip. Also sounds like you may need to respool with some fresh line.
JDAWG
Looks like fun. I still haven't gotten a bite yet, but with all the rain up here, I need to wait a little longer. The rivers are outta control.
