Straight Shooter
Welcome to the forums USA! My brother just called me last night about the Switchback. He's all excited, him being a Mathews man. It seem to be a cross between the Outback and MQ bows. It's got the speed of the MQ and the smoothness of the Outback. It's also got a great price of 750.00 on it, as well. I'm sure they be less in some areas. The new Bow-tecs are supposed to be a hot item as well. Chrud
Re: Switchback A couple folks on the Mathews Forums are calling it a "Half Breed," part Outback, part LX. I'm shooting the Switchback and Outback this spring, I can't wait! You really don't hear anything bad about Mathews because they are the top bow company. They have great new technology each year. You really can't listen to ANY negative statements about bows, they are so high quality these days it's scary.

ScottyLuck
Re: Switchback [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Mathews is deffinetly the best bow on the market [/ QUOTE ] In your opinion. [/ QUOTE ] I agree. That's only an opinion. I'm a tried and true Mathews shooter. I can say that they are one of the best. Hoyt, Bowtech and others make awesome equipment. It's all in what feels best to you.
Straight Shooter
Re: Switchback It just toally amazes me how this can go from a questin about a bow and it turns into my is better than yours. Let's just answer the question and not start a war here. I am not a Mathews shooter, but I don't clam one bow is better than another. A good shooter can take any bow and make it shoot. NY911Bowhunter
Re: Switchback I'm still curious to see what they are going to release at the ATA - might be better than the Switchback! Then you'll see all of those Switchback guys looking to sell!
tped
Re: Switchback I have 3 Mathews bows and felt that I would always be a diehard Mathews guy until I shot one of these new Bowtechs with the binary cams. I shot a Defender and it was extremely impressive, fast, no shock and quiet without a stabilizer. I was so impressed and after talking with the Bowtech guys ordered the Allegiance as it is supposed to be even better than the Defender. My dealer also sells Mathews and he had no idea when the Switchback will be in.
