huntinguide
How many of you guys have killed a turkey with a bow?
huntinguide
i much prefer to use a bow and do alot of the time. I use my shotgun when the conditions favor like windy or runnin and gunnin, but like to use my bow.

boomer
I like to bow hunt them much more than with a gun. But I got a Tk2000 a couple yrs ago. I got a couple birds with that and really starting to like shooting a smokepole.

Covehnter
I like it all . . . . i've killed them with shotgun, bow, and muzzleloader. If i had to choose the bow is definately most challenging and having a big tom through the peep . . . well there is just nothing else like it. But that is a VERY difficult task to tackle and you must really change your hunting strategies in most senses. I've always been a very mobile turkey hunter that moves on birds when i get the notion but that quickly stopped when you're after them with the stick and string. So far the majority of this season i've been a passive turkey hunter, roosting birds and setting up close at daylight then relocating to popular hang out sites because i've had all the equipment related to bow hunting turkeys. I'm really looking forward to hitting the public lands with my shotgun soon b/c those heavy pressured birds prove fun in their own weird way.
