Guest IllinoisMackDaddyHunter
Has anyone In Central Illinois had any experences with planting a food plot. What time of the spring is good to plant and what types are good for this area?
wtnhunt
This topic should be in the land and wildlife management room. You might want to give a little specifics. Sure someone will be able to give you some good suggestions.
dogdoc
you might check with your local co-op or DNR--they could probably help you with what works best in your area. Your DNR should have a biologist on staff to answer questions--local farm feed and seed stores can also be a great resorce.
brad dryden
Well alot of times if you look on the back of some seeds such as imperial clover it will tell you when to plant and how to plant.
