coles
i was just lookin through my photobucket account and found this pic of the two deer my girlfriend killed one evening this past season. She was shooting my Remington 700 22-250 with 60gr. Nosler Partitions with a leupold 3-9X50mm scope. This year she wants to hunt elk with me. i cant wait. notice who has all the blood on HIS hands. i was a gentleman and gutted BOTH of her deer for her. but then again i wouldnt let it be any other way unless she absolutely wanted to. the buck only went about 20 yards and the doe dropped right in her tracks. Tom2008
That is a great management buck with a goofed up rack. Congrats to your girlfriend on the deer. You are one lucky guy.
coles
i thought his right side was goofed up too but it just ended up that all the points were broken. i saw that buck the day before or it might have even been the same deer with a hot doe. he wouldnt move for the world. if i would have known he was just broken up i would have told her not to shoot but i figured if he had bad genetics it would be a good deer to take out of the heard. too bad he was a young deer. he would have been really wide when he was older.
