Guest HoppeMan
I don't like how the guy always bumps others into the walls. For example, he purposely knocked Stewart into the wall Sunday. The announcers were saying he lost his grip, but he meant to knock Stewart. I've seen him knock many other drivers. You can probably tell I don't like the guy LOL Your thoughts on him? Take care, Nathan
str8shooter48
I don't particularly care for him myself. He's been around racing long enough to know that he pulls crap like that, payback is on the way. Maybe we can say it was a rookie mistake LOL. I'm sure if Tony feels it was an intentional bump into the wall maybe the next time a situation arises Tony won't cut him no slack. Foreign cars and foreign drivers. Whats next? Nascars heading down hill.
MUDRUNNER
The guys a weapon IMO.He's constantly racing way over his head and seems to collect other drivers in his wrecklessness. He should've spent a few seasons in Busch before running with the big boys. The guys got talent, just no patience or consideration or respect for the other drivers. VermontHunter
My take on Juan Pablo Montoya is that he's a very accomplished driver in many fields of racing but he's trying to impress too many, too soon in NASCAR, HENCE the bad moves at bad times on the track.... IMHO he just needs to chill and learn the ropes of NASCAR .... He'll be better of for it in the long run...
AdvantageTimberLou
Like Mudrunner said, he is a weapon!! That is what we call guys on the local short track scene that will tear up their car and yours in the process. Drive way over there head, they have a 10th place car and aren't happy with that, they will get in the way and end up damaging good cars. Montoya fits the weapon catorgory well, as another term we use, "wild man" He will do some damage this year to others and its a matter of time before feuds will happen and fists will be flying!! Chrud
I thought this thread was about Montoya, not Bush lol LOL! I'm surprised that someone hasn't gotten fired up at you about that. Montoya and Hornish both. They've got good talent, but they aren't ready for "stock" car racing. Neither of them really fit the "typical" stock car driver profile. Hornish looks like he's in way over his head. Montoya has had some good finishes, but he's really dangerous out there.
Chrud
This will be interesting... Did anyone else watch Busch practice after Cup qualifying last night? When preparing to interview Montoya, a camera was on him. Montoya clearly looked at the camera and FLIPPED IT OFF! Then, proceeded to wave "hello" about 2 seconds later. He dang well better get 25 points and $25,000 taken away.
VermontHunter
Man I missed that.... If he did that, he darn well had better get that and more IMO ....
