Jeramie
This is something that God put on my heart a while back. It really lifts me. Try and picture heaven. Imagine sitting on a mountain side looking at a clear, beautiful blue lake, deep in a valley below. Trout are swimming in and out of the shallows, elk grazing, and a soft warm breeze blowing in your face. Wild flowers are blooming by the thousands and their scent carries on the breeze. Sitting beside you is that one relative/ friend that supported you and loved you through it all. It hurt more than you could explain when they died but now they sat there in Eternal bliss enjoying the Golden rays as they danced across the swaying grasses. You both stand, over the crest of the next mountain you both see a city of White and Pure Gold. Laughter and love bound from the walls. You’re met at the gate with a deep hug from our beautiful Savior, the Lamb himself, Jesus. You walk side by side with him down streets of pure gold that stretch for thousands of miles between mansions. The food is exquisite, the company amazing. Over dinner you get to talk to Elijah, Elisha, and Paul. Moses highlights on the beauty of a Sea as it Parts for you to cross. Noah talks about the soothing songs of thousands of birds as they greet the early morning from the rafters of an immense ark. A crippled man stands to tell his account of Salvation at the gate Called Beautiful. And then everyone turns to you to hear your account of Salvation. They listen intently as you talk of the comfort of the cold wood of the alter as you lowered your head to meet it. You talk of the tears that would stop and the weight that fell as the shackles were broken. You talk of the beautiful spirit that was there to help you walk in the light. You talk of that one Preacher, that one sermon, and that very instant that everything inside you just couldn’t be held inside anymore. You account that instant, that single prayer, and that very moment you decided a few years of sacrifice were worth Eternal Perfection. Dinner is over and you find yourself walking back down those streets, surrounded by saints, to a Mansion built for you out of Sweat, Pain, Sacrifice, and Love. Not only is tomorrow going to be just as wonderful….. These days will never end. Think about that for a minute and keep this in mind. Its not an account of heaven, in fact heaven won’t be like this. Heaven will be much, much better! There is proof in the Bible. 1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. Even after an account such as that…. We can’t Fathom the beauty of our Eternity. Thank you Lord!
