Yeah. If Pudd would ever get http://www.realtree.com/forums/images/icons/icon7.gif

Smilesome ammo for his .416 he could tell us how "interesting" it really is.

hey, you all need to get on snappers s--- (stuff) about those 416 bullets , they're very pricey, thats why I've been waiting on him to get them for me! even though I know his reasoning,I'd still like to try it out.

? how do i get joined up

Provide a list of qualifying guns. I'll take it from there. Here's the criteria:

Off the Porch Gang Charter:

Here it is folks!! The long awaited & much requested official Off the Porch Gang signup thread!!! Come....be a part of the original & most prestigious Realtree Forums fraternity of heavy hitters (girls are allowed, too!!)!!

Signup is simple and has only 4 rules:

1: You must be a registered member, in good standing, of the Realtree Forums.

2. You must own and shoot a centerfire, magnum rifle cartridge or cenerfire pistol cartridge (in a handgun) .429" or larger. (some exceptions without formal "magnum" designation will be considered i.e. Rigby, Nitro Express, etc)

3. You must have a dislike for hot cocoa.

4. You must reply to this thread with your username and cartridge which you feel qualifies you for membership. Pictures of the cartridges are good, too (but not required)!!

I will PM perspective members as to a "yes" or "no" concerning qualification. The "yes" people will be notified of membership level (which is determined by bore diameter). At that time you will be permitted (expected) to include your membership level boldly in your Realtree Forums signature line.

Here it is, folks......step up to the plate with the big dogs and get off the porch!! All aboard who belong aboard!!!

--------------------

All members must agree to semi-memorize and fully embrace the Gang Creed:

If a gun can do it......a magnum can do it faster, flatter, harder and farther and better!! Bigger, faster, better, more!!

And.......all memberships are contingent on the ongoing review by the board of directors. Public displays of "Hot cocoa" are strictly forbidden!!

(((((not for the weak at shoulder and mind , scopers)))))got me some AMMO! finally got to fire the 416 rigby, its pretty awesome, the barrel doesn't even rare up at all , but it does pack a little horsepower behind the stock, all in all , very pleased with the gun and choice of caliber!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This whole recoil thing is way far out of proportion. Yesterday my 9 year old daughter was out shooting my .338 win mag. Sitting on the ground off of a set of sticks.4'5" and a dripping wet 80 lbs, She said, " It's not that bad". I guess she's officially OFF THE PORCH.

Moving to Colorado in the morning..............Life is Good.

Saw the hats today.........sort of. :o The front logo is done on all of them and it looks good. :) The lettering on the back, all the sudden, seems to be problematic. I told the guy that it had to be done a specific way or not at all. I told him if he can't do it the way I want it........the way the order was taken.......then I'd gladly pay him for what he's done so far and take the hats somewhere else to have them finished. I'm becoming a tad more than a little impatient with how long this is all taking.
