VermontHunter
CHECKERED FLAG: Jeff Gordon wins the Subway Fresh Fit 500 at Phoenix to tie Dale Earnhardt with 76 career victories. Gordon earns his first victory at PIR and becomes the first driver to win at the track from the pole. CONGRATS !!! ... To Jeff and the 24 Team on a great win and accomplishment... :)
OJR
Blah, Blah, Blah!! At least it was a Chevy that won! That is the only good thing! He is lucky that Hamlin was caught speeding because Hamlin would have won it!

LETMGROW
Good job Jeff, but you made Tony mad enough so he even declined an interview. He picked up his toys and went home. And people call JG a whiner???
Chrud
I heard on the radio that Gordon drove around with an Earnhardt flag after the race. That is pretty cool. Another stellar week for my fantasy team...1, 3 and 4.
Randyman
Because of a crazy work schedule i don't see many races these days, but i did get to see this one. I'm not sure i saw anything that would make Tony Stewart mad enough to decline to be interviewed, though there was some rubbin' going on at the end. I think he was more frustrated than anything. Congrats to the 24 team for checking off another track where a win had eluded them. I thought Jeff's gesture of doing his victory lap while holding a #3 flag was cool, and it was clear Junior thought so, too. Looks like the 24 team is back. The Hendrick team clearly has an early handle on the COT, and that bodes well for my favorite driver. I'm looking forward to Talladega and the prospect for career win #77. NS whitetail
Race ? was there a race on ? NHL playoffs are way more important than watching those stupid looking COT cars I have lost all interest in Nascar congrats to JG however
Ravin R10 man
Guess I missed that one...
Nick
Man, I could get in a Hendrick car and win races. The power they have this year is unbeleivable!
AdvantageTimberLou
Man, I could get in a Hendrick car and win races. The power they have this year is unbeleivable! I would like to see that Nick! Not everyone is made to go in circles! They have hit on the magic set-up but that whole organization is a winning powerhouse, have been ever since Gordon signed up to be a driver! snapper
I got to admit...I'm not a Hendrick fan or Stewart fan...but this COT maybe ok on bigger tracks. I thought it was a fairly good race except for Gordo winning...although he won fair and square...congrats to the 24 team! Maybe Tony was leaving to get started on his retirement...what a joke! VermontHunter
I'm still on the fence when it comes to this COT Car ... It would be nice if NASCAR would let the drivers and crews really / Truely express thier honest opinions of this car.. But, we all know that the politics won't alow this... SUGARKAHNE
Congrats to JG!! Finally broke even with "the man in black." I like how he carried the #3 flag around his victory lap.
LETMGROW
I too had reservations about the COT and maybe still have. One thing I like is the weak frontal area. Maybe this will stop some of the Bump drafting we have seen in the past. As a whole the car is supposed to be safer. Time will tell but I certainly haven't a problem with that. Some teams have seemed to catch on faster than others but I have a feeling this will be short lived. Before we applaud or condem it let's give the COT a chance to prove itself. Anyone really know what Tony's problem was?
VermontHunter
Anyone really know what Tony's problem was? I haven't seen or heard of any statements from Stewart as of yet.. I can only guess it was total frustation...
Chrud
Looked like the 20 tried putting the 24 in the fence near the end.
Bowtech_archer07
Looked like the 20 tried putting the 24 in the fence near the end. Does that really surprise you??? Congrats to Jeff. I'm glad he honored one of the best drivers Nascar has ever seen in the way he did.
