Tominator
OK, dorky subject line, but just wanted to share that my Encore scope, base and rings are on order with Cabelas. Went with the Nikon Omega, and took AJ's advice and went with the T/C base, Warne quick detach rings.
bigmoss
Sweet I have those sets on all three barrels in camo and LOVE them !
Hoyt03
yeah the ones bigmoss have are sweet, I just didn't have the $ to put down on those types at the moment. I went with the cheaper style matte and it looks fine with the camo SS gun, and work great.

Tominator
Kind of surprised you went with a nikon scope Chris. Let us know how it works out for you. If it had a rangefinder attached, no way for Nikon, but it was just a straight scope, lifetime warranty, so I went with it. I'm happy with Nikon glass, it's their customer service on the rangefinder that has me burned.

Have been happy with them so far, and honestly so long as we dont have any issues, nikon will probably be about all I will buy anymore in scopes. Picked up a monarch for my .270 from cabelas here a month or so ago, have not put it on it yet though.
