muggs
Who else is loving watching this happen? You spend 190 million for this kind of result, you have some serious issues. I betcha the solution to their pitching woes will be to throw 25-30 million at Clemens too for half a season and no road starts. I can't wait for that. Even if the guy can come in and be his usual self, which I doubt since he's another year older and stale as heck, it won't help much. Now, my only wish is this Hughes kid they're bringing up gets shelled and gets a case of the Rick Ankiels. God speed good GM's and small market teams. okbowman
They have the same record as my Rangers(who all of a sudden can't hit). We knew they couldn't pitch! Love to see the Yanks lose!
DSGB
I love it! The best team money can buy bringing up the rear in their division. Now if the Braves can get a sizable lead over the Mets instead of this back-and-forth stuff, life would be grand.
MCH
Can't say it doesn't make me a little bit happy to see them struggling. But A-rod hitting the way he is makes me extremely happy.
Gator
Wasn't it 4-5yrs ago that the Yanks, the highest paid BB team, got BEAT in the World Series by the Devil Rays or Marlins, can't remeber which, the LOWEST paid team in BB???? AHHH YES, Life IS grand
VermontHunter
BEWARE FOLKS !! once the Yanks get their pitchers back off the DL .. someone is in for a world of crow eating.... :D By the way,, keep an eye on those Blue Jays .. YIKERS ... I think they just may be the sleeper team...
Guest Finn
It warms my heart to see the Yankees in last place. Too bad it won't last the whole season. Sure wish they had a salary cap like in the NFL.
Tominator
You know I'm lovin' it, but I don't think it will last.

buckbuster11
I love every second of it. EVERY second. Just think where they would be at if A-Rod wasn't having maybe the best offensive month ever. BTW---Not that this is the Yankees fault but, has anyone noticed over the last 2 or 3 years that almost all of the baseball discussion over the radio, and other sports channels/networks, especially on ESPN, is all about the Yankees? You turn on Mike and Mike in the morning, if they are talking baseball, 9 out of 10 times they are talking about the Yankees. Sportscenter leads off with a Yankees game almost everyday and then they spend 20 minutes disecting it before quickly mentioning there were 15 other baseball games played today and here are the scores. It's killing baseball if it's not dead already.
