MrWiggely Posted April 27, 2007 Report Share Posted April 27, 2007 They make a beard and fan mount kit that you can pick up at Cabelas, some wal marts and what not. For the feet, I set them up like the bird is standing in them. I put weights on the feet to keep them from sliding and also keeps the toes spread, and place the leg against a wall. HuntnMa Posted April 27, 2007 Report Share Posted April 27, 2007 i'll take fencing nails and put one over each toe to keep in place, then i take a straight nail or two, placing them at both sides of the leg and once the leg part is upright, i take a piece of dental floss or fishing line and i tie it off....that way i make sure it doesnt move......the fan, i spread out and hammer a nail in between feathers.....keeps them spread out, sometimes you have to put a nail on each side of the quill to get it to stay.....good luck....have fun with it.....
