SuperMn106
Thought this was very interesting. There sure was a lot of debri cautions this year so far. They guy is brutally honest and I like that. Finally someone who is willing to stand up for what he believes in. http://sports.espn.go.com/rpm/news/story?seriesId=2&id=2849024 I hope the link works, if not could someone help me out. VermontHunter
Interesting article to say the least.... I have to agree when he says there has been alot of debri cautions,, but were they truely unwarrented ?? Who knows, when the camera's show debri ... whats a fan at home watching it on TV to think ?? All I know is the last caution was a just one,, and even Tony agree's with that one... I could have used a better word then finally, I know Tony has always said what was on his mind and that is why I respect him so much. dg
I could have used a better word then finally, Sorry, I call it the way I see (read) it! Since NASCAR has gone down hill, I appreciate Tony and Happy a whole lot more.
OJR
I will agree with what Stuart had to say on this one! It seems there have been more "debris" flags this year than ever before!
MUDRUNNER
The so called "debris cautions" are geitting out of hand, and Tony is the only one with the kahonies to call NASCAR out on it.They don't always show the "debris" on t.v. like they used to...there are times when they don't,which is fishy to me.Tony has always said what was on his mind which is why he's one of my favorite drivers, plus he owns some pretty good dirt tracks. I've said it before,NASCAR is past it's prime and has gone downhill IMO,and Helton isn't helping matters.
Chrud
Like NASCRAP will listen to guys like Stewart though. While a lot of the "regular" fans are losing interest, or lost it completely, NASCRAP has gain a whole new "Hollywood" fan base. And I think that is all that matters to them. snapper
Yeah....I say leave the crap on the track and let them hit it...blow a tire...then hit the wall...Tony will be the first to open his hole about that as well! Once a whiner...always a whiner!!!!! It took him 2 days to come up with that excuse for leaving the track without talking to reporters? Come on, he was pissed that he came in 2nd and couldn't get back around Gordon...so he took his toys and went home. Sorry, unlike most of you folks, I have no respect for him...only time he is happy is when he wins or something benifited him. And he's not honest...if he was, he would have retired two times already!!!!!!!
MUDRUNNER
only time he is happy is when he wins or something benifited him. That pretty well covers all the cup drivers. I'm not saying let them run over the debris and crash,I'm saying if there is a debris caution then show the stuff on the t.v.Every inch of that track has cameras on it so if it's really there then show it! Then spends 48 hrs. to come up w/ a horrible excuse that makes no sense just so people will focus on him. Nascar is still a great sport in my opinion and it would be better without cry babies like Stewart. I have never had respect for the guy as I have said in previous posts. He is a hypocrite and like Snapper said, if he would hit a piece of debris and wrecked b/c of it, he would start crying that Nascar should have thrown a debris caution there. Most of his arguments make no sense, and when he starts crying like a little school girl about things, it makes me dislike him even more.
Randyman
One thing i have always found amusing about the average NASCAR fan is, if your "guy" said it ,he is speaking his mind, if someone you don't like said it, he is "whining"! In my opinion, 99% of all drivers can honestly be construed as whiners. For the record, i agree with Tony.

AdvantageTimberLou
Personally I have to side with Tony on this one, too many odd cautions that even the announcers can't even justify on air. Just a way to bunch up the field and it does indeed change the outcome. You know dang well is Dale Sr. was alive he would say the same thing Tony is saying and NASCAR would listen. Then again when Dale spoke Big Bill France indeed listened and if he was still around, you'd see no Chase format. NASCAR has gone downhill and at least one driver is speaking his mind. Like he or not, 2 championships and wins at that level, the guy can drive and stir up the pot. NASCAR needs something, its losing it spark! Where is Jimmy Spencer when you need something punched in the head!
double_drop
BOY THAT TONY STEAWART IS A WHINER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No wonder everyone calls him crybaby.
MUDRUNNER
Now we got whining about how much whining there is. I've been around dirt racing racing quite a few years and every driver complains, whines and gives exuses to some extent,so I guess to me that's just the way it is. No way Stewart will ever catch up to Gordon on the whino-meter.
Randyman
Are you a NASCAR fan Randyman? YES! For almost 20 years now. Like a lot of long time fans, i don't like the direction NASCAR seems to be headed. This thread illustrates my original point perfectly! Some think Tony was just speaking his mind, others think he is just whining! Chrud picked up on my other point, most complaining can be seen as whining, it's just a matter of "who's Ox is being gored", so to speak! Bottom line? There are no more passionate fans in sports than NASCAR fans!
VermontHunter
No way Stewart will ever catch up to Gordon on the whino-meter. NO way Stewart will catch up to Gordon in many ways ... I rather like to hear all of the drivers opinions,,, but it seems when certian drivers voice thiers,, it's taken as whinning,, and not just a plain simple complaint.. texastrophies
NASCAR made stewart issue a statement today basically saying he was wrong for saying what he said. They also fined him 10G's for skipping the media after last weeks race and put him on probation until Dec. 31. This just makes nascar look all the more like a joke to me. somebody says something we don't like so we will fine you and put you on probation. And you wonder where the puppets come from. bobw
stewart used to be a big nascar fan ,have alot of #3 #2 cars wifes# 3 and i was a #2 fan, sport is changed to much ,stewart was right ,he got fined 10,000 bucks but nascar said not for comments but for not going to after race interview ,bunch of bull nascar does what they want when they want .with the #3 and the #2 it is starting to stink, one time wallace was fined $5,000 he paid them in PENNYS i thought it so cool. miss the #3 and #2 right now more cry babys then racers. Guest HoppeMan
Well, he hit the nail on the head for the most part Too many debris cautions. But he sure is liberal in what he says LOL Maybe that's why Stewart is my favorite racer Take care, Nathan
