huntinguide
This might sound alittle sick but it works great. Here in oklahoma we have no shortage of flies so............................. i let it sit out in the position that i want and let the flies have a hay day with it, then the meat cleaners take over(maggots). its hard too look at but in 2-3 days it will be meat free and maggot free they will just drop off and go on there way, and you are left with a non stinkin meat free fan tail. hope it works, shane

woodshed
huntinguide, It's funny you mention that. I've read a bunch of ways to get the meat off. People go to all sorts of trouble to keep it clean and bugs off it. I've always wondered why I shouldn't let mother nature do it for me. Why not just let them do it?? When ithe meat and flesh is gone they'll leave! I doubt I could clean the meat off better than maggits. that's what they do! they are professional at it! I'm going to try that with one of mine.
