Guest Andrea
Okay.................what is the deal with Juliette? ( The "Other" doctor) Do you think she's a good or bad person? And did she say last night that Kate was pregnant also?????? ( She left Ben that message about Sun and then said she hadn't gotten the test back from "Austin" yet) Also..............obviously this is an island of "science". But what was the deal with the guy that supposably died a few episodes back showing up last night?? ( The guy with the eye patch)
Mirage
You know those are some great questions. I dont know i thought the guy with the eye patch died in the fence. but here he is. Wow i didnt even catch the kate thing being pregnant but i think the doc is a good person just made to do bad things because she wants off the island soo bad. Did you catch the female pilot that they found in the woods said that oceanic flight had crashed and there where no survivors? whats all that about. and is John lockes dad the same guy who sawyers parents got husled by and sawyer is after? Yeah, how in the world did the "Others" manage to come up with another plane to pass off as Flight 813???? Cause you know they did somehow. They wanted to use these people as science experiments and didn't want anyone looking for them. Not sure about Locke's father being the hustler. How did that helicopter pilot know Desmond's name and why did she have his picture??? And for goodness sake.......what is that thing in the woods that eats people???? ( Remember the plane's pilot in the beginning??? Gross!!!!!)
Mirage
I am not sure what the black smoke thing is i think in the beging they were going for a jurasic park type theme and kinda dropped that and said it was wild boar but last time i check boar dont eat pilots from a plane in the tree. As for the hellocopter pilot I think she is employed by Penny desmonds wife to search the ocean for desmond...remember when Lock destroyed the hatch at the end of season 2 and they showed those guys sitting in a hut in antartica and picked that up on some kind of equipment ....and told penny
dogdoc
I tell you what---I look forward to each episode wednesday evening---and then after each episode I tell myself--what a stupid show--then by next wednesday I'm excited again thinking maybe there might be answers to my questions--only to leave watching having more question and thinking again why do i watch this stupid show---then next wednesday the cycle starts all over again--I guess i'm hooked. I haven't missed one episode. I also thought there was going to be some "jurassic park" theme at the beginning but they kind of dropped that and went with the polar bear. I am definitely hooked. And if for some reason the show gets cancelled without answering any of the dang questions then I may need counseling. Think the Jurassic park thing still may be in play. You never know. Which they'd revive it, cause it sure made it interesting. I think Locke wants to take over. He doesn't want to be discovered/rescued and I think he'll do anything to make sure that happens. The black smoke thing is stupid. Dinosaurs are more believable. WHO'S YOUR FAVORITE CHARACTER???? Mine is Sawyer.

I haven't missed one episode. I can't imagine how it is that they do that, but I have exactly the same reaction. Also, I hate the constant flash-backs to the character's lives before the crash. Yes, I can see using some of that to establish motives and characters, but they seem to do way too much of that to the point where it begins to be a waste of time, and a good time to head out to the kitchen for a snack. By the way, this is another one of the many programs where the number of commercials is totally obscene. I have started taping some of these shows so that I can fast-forward through the commercials the next day. That's about the only way that I can keep some semblance of continuity. muggs
Here are my thoughts: 1.) Juiette is definately bad. He's spying for the Others. 2.) At this point, I'm sure they're all dead. The Island is either **** or a transcient state between life and the afterlife. If you think about it, the woman who's helicopter crashed was speaking many foreign languages...then all of a sudden she started to speak English. That was the point I think she died and became part of the Island, thus able to communicate with everyone else. Plus, Lock's Dad said he was in a car accident, everything went black and he woke up on the island...looking at Lock, I think he was killed in the accident. 3.) All of the "survivors" have bad things in their past. Murders, robbery, etc... The two people that didn't really commit anything to wrong are Lock and Jack. They're both starting to side with the Others now. Jack and Lock's troubles revolved around emotional problems, and poor relationships with their fathers...and they both saw their fathers on the Island. There has to be a connection there somewhere. 4.) I'm starting to think Ben may be the Devil, or a similar type person.
MCH
I'm thinking more like a sort of Limbo. A place between heaven and ****. Maybe they're getting tested or something???? There was a western with a similar theme. A place where Billy the Kid, the James brothers and a lot of other questionable gunmen were put to see if they could stay on the straight and narrow. Guest Andrea
According to the Bible, children don't go to "Hades". So I don't know about that theory. I was kinda thinking it might be some sort of Bermuda triangle kind of thing. But I dunno. Maybe the writers just wanna make you think everybody's really dead. Yeah, I think Juliette is bad too. Ben reminds me of Jim Jones. ( Anyone remember that cult following in the 70's?) And the rest of them are really brain washed by him. Next thing you know they'll all be drinking that red Kool-Aid spiked with cyanide. Maybe this whole thing is a dream. Wouldn't THAT be a cop out?????? Doc
This was a good episode. Yes, I think this was the best episode yet. I also think that the program may be in its last season, because I think they are starting to answer all the questions. Yes, I do believe that these people are in some state of limbo after death, and I do think there is some sort of testing process going on. It really looks like they are in the process of wrapping the series up. Doc

There are no children on the island besides that one baby, plus no life can be created (pregnant woman die) with the exception of Claire...that's why the Others were so interested with her??? I'm liking the Limbo idea...but doesn't this all seem to obvious, I have to think there's some major twists.
KyBucks
From what I've heard, and I'm a pretty big fan of the show, one more season will wrap it up. I've thought the "limbo" idea for awhile now myself.

Right after the plane crashed.......almost all of them were kidnapped by the OTHERS. When Jack and Kate were in the cages.....there were kids there walking around with their mother. Also, remember Walt and his son????? What happened to them? ( REALLY happened?) Were they really sent back home? The scientific stuff just doesn't mix well with the limbo theory. Why would they be conducting scientific experiments in "Hades"?????
