Swamphunter
My first robinhood ever got me to wondering....I have been shooting for more than 20 years and have never done it before. How many robinhoods have you guys shot in the past? I have a buddy that has shot three, two of them I witnessed myself. He is a tournament archer and is really awesome to watch. My robinhood is now adourning the wall in my hunting room where I do my reloading and fletching in the basement!

Tominator
One, and more than a few broken nocks and creased arrows. If the photo post ever works, here's a pic of it. http://www.realtree.com/photopost/showgallery.php/cat/500/ppuser/129 It is now hanging in the rack of my 2nd biggest deer, which is hanging over my safe. wtnhunt
Have busted lots of nocks, but have never had a real robinhood. Anymore, I usually try to shoot different dots on my target.
JDAWG
I've had 1 in my lifetime, however destroyed a lot of arrows. Mine was at 30 yrds. in a target range.
okiedog
Ken I shot my 1st one last week at 40 yards. Didn't think to take a picture of it, but it is hanging in my shop.
Swamphunter
Camera The funny thing was with mine is I just bought a Sony HandyCam and almost...almost set it up on the target just for giggles, and I didn't because it was starting to sprinkle. I shot 6 arrows, the 6th bing the robinhood. Man that would have been awesome to send the footage to Mythbusters!

coles
i almost have one. the arrow didnt stick inside the other one but it sure did go almost dead center. it split the first arrow a good 6 or 7" down. i have it in my bow case and i keep the nock in the little plastic box with the rest of my field tips. Doc
I think at one time I had 7 of them hanging on the wall. Most of them I pulled apart to save the tail-end arrow (not an easy task and not always successful). I'm not sure why it took me so long to realize that I should be shooting individual targets for each arrow. I guess I'm a little slow.....lol. At any rate, I found out that when your shooting 20 yards with a hunting weight bow (60# and up) and using some pretty heavy arrows with 150 grain tips, they tend to plow down the middle pretty easily. I think that some lighter equipment would make it a lot more difficult because without a perfect center shot, they probably would have a tendency to ricochet and just beat up the nock and maybe bugger up the nock end of the shaft. In fact, back when I was involved in tournament shooting, the better guys would get pretty concerned about arrow collisions because a ricochet could mean the difference between being in or out of the "X" ring. These guys were shooting perfect scores where the only thing separating the winner was the total number of x-ring hits. So a ricochet was a big deal. Now, what I want to hear about is a guy who can shoot a robinhood on demand. Under certain circumstances, I wonder if Byron Ferguson could do that. Guest HoppeMan
Just one. I'm not all that steady with a bow, and it was on a windy day so the wind probably blew the arrow in there LOL Take care, Nathan
VermontHunter
I've had several, with this one being my latest.. 30yrds.
Guest psefirestormlite
I've have two robin hoods underneath my belt. One with my recurve at 20 yards and on with my training whells at 25. these days I only shoot arrows at a time to prevent arrow damage. Tom2008
I've busted one nock, but that it. I just started getting really good with my new bow so we'll see what happens before deer season. I didn't get to shoot as much as I am now so my accuaracy is getting better.
arrow32
Have busted some nocks and have had 5 robin hoods. 3 of them being in the last 4 weeks got two of my own arrows and one of Mike's while we were up on the 3D range. Tell you what tho I would rather not have them. Just had to buy new arrows it costs me to much.

VTbowman
I have 10 or 11 I think. I dont normally keep them as I always seem to be low on arrows when it happens. LOL 3 were with my recurve. I have not had one in a long while. I still shoot for groups and not spots even thoough it pricey to get a robin hood. JMO.
