after fishing and catching 4 18 inch and one 19.5 smallmouths and a few smaller ones I did something I still can't belive

I was fishing and casting to the back of the boat and Alisha was in the back of the boat and I made a cast and realy slung it when my bail closed and the luckycraft lure with trible hooks came down on Alishas shoulder where one hook when pretty deep in her shoulder and I run with the knife to cut the line and then I had to try to calm her down and I got my cutters and cut the hook and then I was able to push it through I think she was in shock and the inpacyt otf the lure hurt her the worst I felt soo bad but we were lucky it coulda been in the face !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, I'm just fine. The impact of the lure hitting my shoulder scared me more than anything. I wouldn't even look at it after it happened. I was afraid it was worse than what it was and more barbs were stuck in besides just one. Ohhhhhhh well. It was just an accident and can happen to anyone!

Fishing can get a bit dangerous at times. Glad to here that she is ok. 2 winters ago I was unloading my ice shack, and a size 14 treble hook went into my finger, past the barb. I had to cut it out with my jacknife, and that hurt a bit. Getting a big treble in the shoulder must have really put some pain in it.

OUCH!!! Glad you're okay. When I was about 11, Dad and I had gone out fishing. First cast, dad get a Rapala stuck in his head, with around 2 hooks in past the barb. What does HE do, have me cut them out with a RAZOR BLADE!!!!! Me, 11 taking a razor blade to my dads HEAD!!!! Needless to say, I got them out, and we went on our way!!!!
