Congratulations! :) Thanks.......its actually not a common carp.....but a white amur.....they are refer to as grass carp.......we call them grassies........but in the true sense they come from the minnow family.......a very big minnow...... bozz Posted May 1, 2007 Author Report Share Posted May 1, 2007 Actually White Amurs unlike carp can be tasty......all white meat unlike a common carp.........but smaller fish are less greasy and fatty and taste better........our rivers are full of PCB's........toxic.......so this fish would be that healthy to eat......but yeah I would smoke a much smaller one and heard they taste good........yeah these fish are taking over and thats not a good thing......good for bowfishing........bad for game fishing !!!
