coles
Saturday i took my little bro Sully out for his first real huntin trip where he actually had a tag in his pocket. He quickly learned that just because his back pack could hold alot of stuff, it doesnt mean to fill it up. I didnt walk him too hard but once we got back to the truck he didnt want to go check any other places for a while because his feet and shoulders were sore. but i think its still a little early for black bears back home. but once the grass turns green back where we were you can garauntee we will be back there. we did end up finding some big grizzly tracks at another area we checked. but here a a couple pics from our outing. OJR
Beautiful country! Who cares if a person gets anything or not when you can be roaming in an area like that!!
whitetailtrax
Nice pictures Cole! Looks like that clearcut has some nice D-fir Christmas trees in it!!!! But I suppose the snow is too deep to get there in December. You must have been pretty high there - not much greenup yet. It's too bad our spring season is so short for bears. Seems like mid-May is when I really start seeing a lot of bears and by then season is over in most districts. Good luck to you and your brother!
