NiteRunner
*GAG*.... I've been playing with all my mouth calls and I bought 4 pack last year on clearance after T-season. Well I played with one of them about a month before this season started. I followed the directions and rinsed them with Mouth Wash to keep the germs off. Put into a case and slipped them into the Fridge. I pulled them out the other day and the one is full of mold. None of the others were, just this particular one. What would cause it to mold up like that? All I could come up with was the material it was made from. It's like a canvas type tape? Any ideas? Thanks! Rhino
With the measures you went through to protect your calls, I have no idea why one call is full of mold. Never had that happen to me.
toddyboman
YUCK That crazy! You would have thought the mouth wash would have protected them.

maytom
Most call companies sell a "mouth call saver kit". It contains a plastic snuff can with a small piece of foam inside. You pour in some scope mouth wash for the foam to absorb, and it keeps your mouth calls fresh. I never had mold on any of my calls using this method.
