Guest Kelby Wright
has anybody tried the new scent blocker road trip suit that michael wadel has his name on? just wonder if it was as good as they say or the scent blocker clothing in general
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
i don't use the roadtrip suit (yet ) but i do have a scentblocker suit, and IMO it works. i still try to play the wind, but i don't worry about it as much as i used to. use it right and take care of it the way you are supposed to, and it will work. QDMAworks4me
I am sure the suit you are talking about it a very nice suit, I have a scent lok suit and love it. There are many disbelievers who have never tried it, but once you try it you won't ever hunt without it again, it really works and gives you that "extra edge" over the people that do not have it. wtnhunt
Have always thought that good scent control practices made all the difference. Have never used any carbon suits here and have had deer come fromdown wind and get under me too many times to try to count. We keep our hunting clothing in plastic totes, lined with cedar limbs. Works for us. I did however break down this year and buy a pair of climaflex 3 in 1 water proof pants lined with scent lok from cabelas on a deal I could not pass up. Have a antimicrobial cool max shirt from cableas, but will probably also pick up a liner shirt just to try and see during our warm season bow hunting if it makes any difference for the rare occasion where I do not follow my normal routine unscented showers and scent control practices before going out. MUDRUNNER
I have the Dream Season scent blocker suit.I don't know that I personally would spend that kind of money on camo, but I won mine from Drury last year.I had deer come from downwind of me last season wearing the suit, but I also had deer come from downwind of me before the suit too.One problem I have is re-activating it....we don't have a dryer ,or electricity for that matter, at the farm I hunt, and we camp up there for 3-5 days at a time so theres no way I can re-activate the carbon. Guest Kelby Wright
how do you reactivate it?
wtnhunt
how do you reactivate it? Supposed to throw the clothing in the dryer I think for 15-20 minutes to reactivate the carbon. Check your garments instructions to be sure as some manufacturers might vary slightly. btw, Welcome to the RT forums.

johnf
I got a dream season suit in January on sale at Gander Mt. Havn't used it yet, but plan on using it and my H.S. Scent products in the shower. Looking foward to getting a little closer.
bigmoss
I use nothing but Scent Blocker product and have the Dream Season and Road Trips suit. The RT suit is awsome, light weight yet warm, fits really well with all pockets and straps I find in the right place. Well worth the money.
