huntinsonovagun
I'm wanting the lowdown on this gun. For the money, it looks like a pretty sweet deal. Is it worth $220, or less? I should be able to get it for considerably less, but just want to be sure it's not having tons of bad reviews. Can't find much on it online. dartonman
I have this gun, in synthetic stock, and NO ACCUTRIGGER...and well, the accuracy is absolutely superb, but the trigger is the roughest I can describe...if you can get one with an accutrigger, its a great buy.................any further buddy, pm me...I can shoot dimes out to 125 yards with it....its a tack driving, squirrel killing machine...al
huntinsonovagun
Just what I was wanting to hear. I can get it with the Accutrigger. Thinking about mounting a 3-9x40 Fullfield II on the mutha.....should be a fun gun.
DU_man_84
wooo doggy, you wanna talk about a sweet gun this is it, my bro and i have always been savage guys, well he just got the same gun with an accutrigger bout 2 weeks ago, we got out last weekend to shoot it, man its an awesome gun, next to excellence in accuracy, hes got the 3-12x40 BSA sweet 17 on it, great scope to go with the .17 but we got that bad boy sighted in and was nothing but accurate and fun from there on out, we were shooting the primers out of my empty .22-250 casings at 50 yds, and quarters at a 100, shoot .17 gr hornady's out of it, excellent gun you will love it, and to be honest i think i might be adding to my savage collection here pretty soon
too_pointer
I bought a Savage 93, 17hmr last year, and I will never get rid of it, way too much fun. Mine has the accu-trigger, which is a must, unless you want to invest $90 into a new trigger group. Easy to adjust and at its lowest setting is about 2 1/2 lbs. I have a wood stock, dark bluing, and the accu-trigger, for $210. I put a Simmons Varmint 6.5-20x40 on top of it. Marlin also makes a fine .17hmr. They both are very accurate with it's favorite ammo. Here is a rimfire site for ya ! http://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=15 Go to upper left and click on "Other Rimfire Guns", the next page you can go to .17hmr, or lower down to "savage". too_
