coles
Well i posted the other day about a gopher tournement at home and my brother and dad entered. I was goin to be in it with my brother but i thought i was goin to have to go back to school earlier than i did. but anyways 1st prize was $500 2nd 300 and 3rd was 150. they had 33 teams sign up and my dad and brother had the lead for a long time until another man came. He shot 200 gophers, my dad and brother shot 164, and i dont know how many 3rd place was. I am really wishing i would have signed up with my brother. but they had a 55 gallon trash can 3/4 of the way full of gophers and my dad said alot of them still got away back down the holes. So they ended up getting 150 bucks a piece just for shooting gophers for the day. Now thats what i call fun and easy money. You can bet ill be signed up next year. All the other teams had at most 2 5 gallon buckets full. Nothing even close to the top 2 teams.

superguide
Brett-Ty got a .17HMR this weekend-he traded a .243 for it-talk about a fun little gun. The first gopher I popped had little mini gophers all over the mound around her-I've never seen that happen before. It should be an awesome little beaver shooter. ODH
2 weeks ago we had a groundhog shoot back at our Sportsmen's Club. My team shot around 15 groundhogs just that day, which is a lot for this area. There nothing like praire dogs, there a lot bigger. Biggest I shot was over 10 lbs. But it was a lot of fun.
