Bowtech_archer07
Wouldn't that be spelled Awndrea? I've seen it spelled Andrea and pronounce ON-dree-ah. Look out everyone, this storm might rearrange towns as fast as Andrea changes her avatar!!

wtnhunt
I think that storm struck the other night while some poor guy was pulling a boat upstream.... :p LMBO, that is pretty funny . You know Andrea, I grew up in the south, even knew a girl named Andrea and she pronounced her name Ann-dree-uh think she lived in central Florida most if not all her life . Never thought of the way she pronounced her name as being the way someone from the north would have pronounced it.
Guest Andrea
True.............most people down here say ANN-dree-uh. I don't know why. I hate the way it sounds. Maybe my Mom should have spelled it Ondrea. But that looks too weird.

Maybe my Mom should have spelled it Ondrea. But that looks too weird. You'll be happy to know that the Yankee news guy this morning called it tropical storm ON-dree-a. Thought you'd like to know that, ANN-dree-a.
BowJoe
So we've pretty much narrowed it down to: Hot air, high speed winds (which have been known to blow plastic grocery bags every where hence making them AIR BAGS) lots of destruction left in her wake with others left to clean it up and always starts out as a depression. I think we have a winner. Ding Ding Ding!
wtnhunt
Loooks like the latest reports are that Andrea will bring some winds(currently around 40mph), beach erosion, but not much in the way of much needed moisture. Weather forecaster here described the storm to be likely to "fizzle"
