Newarcher
We picked him up this morning and he is a true diamond. He is already fetching his toys and knows shake and sit and will even fetch. He appears to be 100% housebroken already and his only requirement seems to be a foot to sleep up against. He will only sleep with some part of his body attached to me or my leg. He is recovering from being neutered so he is pretty lazy right now. I don't know if that is because I was the first to meet him and rescue him or what. But he cost me $75 to adopt but that included neutering, shots and health exam, and his microchip. We started out following the advice of the experts and we left him on the leash in the house attached to one of us at all times but he has alread graduated to walking arond free because he just loves to be around us.I am not a huge dog guy because of the amount of time they take to walk, etc. but I love this guy already. Not once has he tried to pee on anything what so ever. Here's his picture, his coat looks kind of rough because they didn't apparently feed him a very good diet. But I got some science diet and hope that it will make his coat shiny and short again instead of brittle and coarse.New

Newarcher
Good luck with your new family member and just remember one thing.....he is new to his surrounding and somethings may take time for him to get used to. Enjoy your new family member Well, he has come out of his shell. He started being very apprehensive about the kids and now is out playing tug of war (Boston's favorite game) and fetch. He seeks me out when working on the computer upstairs and he lays at my feet, sometimes with his lower jaw on my foot so he can sleep but still be assured that I won't leave him. He is a very sweet dog and we are alread doing away with the crate because he hasn't tried to pee on anything in the house. He is apparently very house broken. Newarcher
Well, ole Cosmo has earned himself some freedom. My wife hated having to force him into the crate but there was limited time between the time we got home with him and bedtime. So she begged me to let him be free last night. He slept at the foot of his bed on the floor on his pillow bed. He only moved when my daugter came down and wanted my wife to sleep with her in her bed. He wanted to go with them but I just told him "get in your bed". He did so and stayed there all night without peeing on anything or even getting up. So it looks like we might try gaiting him in the kitchen area and letting him have some leeway while we are gone to see how he does. Someone is generally home, so his alone time shoud be minimal. What a great find, a pure Boston that is still relatively young for $75 but is alread housebroken and trained. New
