Gator
Glue...I'd say anywhere from $3.00 to $10.00, all depends on what you wanna use. I use Steel Force Beyond Bond I THINK is what it is called, and love it. I use an Arizona, and I fletch feathers, and am more than happy with it. But have found that vanes are a little looser fitting in it, and have had problems getting the front/back ends to fit evenly. Spend the money now, and get a GOOD jig, like a Bitzenberger, they run about $65.00 new, and are hard to find used As far as fletchings, look on Ebay for a guy named Bullseye Feathers, REALLY good prices on fletchings For a scraper, Razor knife works good for scraping, some use steak knifes for removing the fletches themselves

Guest Finn
Check out the blazer vanes. They really work well for me and my son with a WB or drop away.
Turkeygirl
Check out archerytalk.com. You can get great deals on Blazer vanes if you go that way, and arrow wraps, which is what I did. I also got a good deal on new arrows also from there as there are people on there who own shops and try to give ya a deal. Vanes and glue run relatively inexpensive....fletching jigs, depending on what you get, can range from around $20 up to like $70!
Maryland_Bowhunter
As for glue I buy it from Walmart when they put it on clearence . You can check Archerytalk for a good used fletching jig . If I were you I would look for a used or even buy a new Bitznburger new is 69.99 but worth every penny . Other then that you can always find deals on the net for all of this stuff check around . dg
- AZ EZ Fletch for around $40 - Plastifletch vanes from e-bay maybe 5-8$ for a hundred - any super glue gel at wallyworld or most shops/stores $1-
ParsonsOutdoors
No other jig compares to a Bitzenburger. A little more expensive but worth it. JP
wtnhunt
No other jig compares to a Bitzenburger. A little more expensive but worth it. JP Have not used but a few, and the bitz in my opinion hands down is the best of what I have used. Tried an arizona ez fletcher here too, and for the small diameter carbons that I shoot it would not line up all three vanes properly, but to give them credit their customer service was great. Use goat tuff glue here or super glue gel, think it is about the same thing. Have been using plastifletch 4 inch vanes, think I may soon switch vanes though. Tony
after all my years in archery i finally just started fletching a few weeks ago. i bought a Grayling fletching jig with a straight clamp, Goat Tuff Glue and some flex fletch vanes. i also got a small jar of Acetone from work. this is for wiping down arrows to prep them for gluing. also you need to swipe some brands of vanes with acetone on the bottom, to get them to stick really well. if you go to Lancaster Archery Supply they have lots of choices in Jigs, glue, fletching and wraps. glue runs from 3 to 10 bucks depending on how much your going to use. i like Blazers for my Hunting arrows, but for 3D i prefer Flex Fletch. for indoor i shoot 4 inch feathers. Grayling Jig........................30.00 Goat Tuff Glue .5 Oz bottle..6.99 Flex Fletch 1.75 inch vanes..8.50 package of 39 Acetone Free fletching stripper- slightly dull knife board to mount jig Free so for 45 bucks i was set up to replace vanes on my 3D arrows if any went bad. im going to buy vanes and feathers to replace any of what are on my arrows already. i do not use wraps due to the fact that if you ruin 1 fletch, you must strip off the wrap and the other 2 vanes. then repalce with the exact same wrap and vanes. and they add extra weight to my nock end which messes with my FOC. fletching is easy, i cant believe i waited this long to start doing it.
