Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
a couple of my cousins and i hunted a small piece of land last season (30 acres or so) well me and one of my cousins went and took down the last stand we had up there today, and we decided to just take a quick walk of the land to see if we could stumble upon some sheds, didn't really cover to much ground because we were in somewhat of a hurry (we didn't find any). well we get back to my grandparents house and one of my uncles ask what we were doing, and we told him we went to take that stand down and looked around for some sheds for a little bit. now i have never shed hunted before, and this was just a quick look around like i said, but he claims it is to late to find any out there, meaning what ever ones were out there, the squirrels ate or picked at. is this true? like i said, i have never shed hunted before, BUT given the history of the "stories" this guy likes to tell, i thought i'd come in and ask the experts. bowtech
You can find sheds all year long .... yes some have problem been eaten by animals but some will be left ... i do a lot of rabbit hunting and have found sheds from the previous year as late as november .. some times they are really chewed on but other times they are just bleached out and hardly touched. People find them year around. Just some have been chewed on a bit more than others.
