Anyone Tired Cajun Red Line

I used a spool of it and it worked out pretty well. It casts good, I don't know how the visibility is for fish though. I finished the spool on my baitcaster last year, and when I broke that reel out this year, it still casted very smooth. I don't have any negatives to say about it, but I highly doubt I'll be buying another spool.

Only certain colors are visible once you get so deep. If I remember right from my Freshwater Ecology class, red is only visible in clearer water down to about 3-4ft. Then everything starts to look real dark to black. My professor would always joke about the colors of some fishing lures when they dont look like that under water.

Some of the pro's were talking about this line on another message board awhile back. They stated that the line will be visible until 12 feet, and then it will disaappear. About 90 percent of my fishing is in less than 12 feet, so I sure won't be buying any of it.

ive used it up here in montana trout fishing and the year before we had plain clear line and the year we put the cajun red on we caught 1 fish the whole summer. when the summer before we caught at least 5 fish per trip. nothing changed except the line so i think the trout may have been able to see it or something. but i havent used it since. i wouldnt recommend it. nothing special unless your favorite color is red!!!!!!!!!!!
