KANSAN
I'm in the market for a gas powered pole saw to trim branches/shooting lanes - I'd like to spend less than $200 on one if at all possible. Does anyone know where I could find one??
wtnhunt
Before I saw what you were willing to spend, was going to suggest an echo power pruner. My neighbor has one and have borrowed it and that saw is great. Think it was a bit more than $200 though. In that price range, really not sure. KANSAN
If I need to extend past that price range, I'll do it if necessary, those things are nice. How much for the echo??
wtnhunt
Northern tool used to carry them. My neighbor ordered his here locally at a small engine shop, think he gave around $500 for his it is the model 230 or 260. Here is a link to a place that carries them http://www.npeco.com/index.html?lang=en-us&target=d119.html, they have another model they list for $347, and the one I believe my neighbor has for $502. dosse
We have one and as another poster said they are worth their weight in gold, i doubt you are able to find one in the 200 dollar range, we either have a stihl or a husqvarna(sp), its orange and will chew up some limbs. What ever you have to pay i promise you want regret it.
