LifeNRA
Do you have the right size? There should be a small gap between the bristles and the arrow. I shoot carbons with the WB, and I never heard anything but a slight whisper as the arrow draws back. Only because I was trying to actually hear if it made any noise. The more you shoot through it the more wear it wil get, sorry thats all i got but i dont have much noise here!! good luck
buckee
I've never heard any noise from mine, but I'm shooting GoldTips. I've heard a few guys say they spray there's with something, but I forget what it was now.
Tom2008
I shot carbon express Maxima Hunter 250s through mine and the Carbon Force Predators. I had less noise with the Predators, but still some. I just switched to the Ripcord Dropaway rest. Full containment and my arrow makes absolutly no noise running through it.

The wife and I both shoot whisker biscuits, she shoots radial x weaves stl hunter 300's from her browning, never noticed any rest noise. Shoot cabelas sst carbons from my pse through the biscuit and not noticed any rest noise from it either.
Dogg6
I shoot the same as buckee, WB with Goldtips, which have the matte finish. I have never heard anything from the rest. Are you sure the noise is coming from the rest and not somewhere else on your set up?
bowin_in_illinois
I've been using the WB for 6 years, and I have used it with different arrows (carbon and aluminum), and in many different weather conditions and have never noticed a noise issue. I would wonder also if it isn't coming from another source.
Guest waynemclain
this is nuts.....yea its coming from the WB...i had someone stand right beside me just a while ago when i drew back a few times...im shooting predator x-weaves.....it to me sounds like your rubbing arrows together when i draw back....now i know some of this is normal but it just seems to much to me.....this is bothering me! LifeNRA
it to me sounds like your rubbing arrows together when i draw back That might be your problem. The surface of the arrow itself is causing the noise. Only thing I can think of is try a different arrow. Like the others have said, my arrows have a matte finish as well. Tom2008
I know what you mean with the little noise when you pull the Carbon Force back through the Whisker Biscuit. It happend with my Maxima Hunters too and they had a matte finish.
MichiganHunter
That sucks i dont know what to do.....i was just lookin into it for my new bow but maby i'll look into somethin else.....maby a drop away
Straight Shooter
If they are close enough to here the arrow coming across your rest as you draw, they should be dead on their feet. I shoot Gotdtip black's out of mine as well as camo, they both make the same noise and it doesn't disturb the deer what so ever except when that Muzzy eats! Don't worry about the noise it's not as loud as you think it is.
2bowhunter
I use nothin but whisker biscuit's on all my bow's. I shoot both goldtips and beman carbons. I personally have had a slight noise with aluminum arrows i switched to carbons several yrs. ago. I still shoot aluminum arrows sometimes. I have found the noise worse with the aluminum arrows. A little trick i have done esp. with aluminum is to make sure after each shooting session clean the arrows to remove any debris then wipe them down good with armorall. I then let them dry well. I find that after they dry before goin to the woods esp. there is no odor remaining on the arrow. Another trick you might try is to run an ordinary cotton ball through the biscuit several times before you shoot. This will leave a small amount of material on the biscuit . Also the more you shoot the biscuit the( more quiet )it should become. I have shot them since they came out and would not shoot anything else . And believe me I have tried them all . IMHO it is the best capture rest out there today . There is a lot of other fine capture rests available , but this is my favorite. Hope this helps. BowtechTurkeyHunter
If you have no confidence in the arrow now when you are shooting paper you will be in a huge world of hurt come deer season ... change the arrows or go to a different rest ... seems to me that if a "Whisper" biscuit made more then a whisper it wouldnt be working right ... I have installed tons of WB and never heard a problem ... Silly question you are drawing the arrows over the black part of the biscuit right? ... if you are drawing the arrrows over the brown whiskers I could certainly see it making that noice ... I know you probably have it right but I didnt want to miss the obvious .. Sounds like you will deffinately have confidence issues if you dont find a solution ... BKE
Kinda late reply here, sorry. I didn't read all the replies so some probably have already said this. I shoot a biscuit amd "LOVE" it but read pros and cons all the time. Most say that aluminum and the matt finished carbons seem to be noisier and that smooth carbons are the way to go. Good luck
