Well turkey season's out the door and already i've began to start dreaming of early geese settin' up right in a cut corn field. Of course i'm doing my part in getting the food plots in for the pine goats and trickin' the bow out with the new accessories but my mind never settles on deer like it does winged ones!! We've got the ground prepared and have had our fingers crossed for several weeks waiting on the rain to put in the millet and sunflowers for the dove but the weather aint cooperating at all.

The rain has waited us out and the dove field may not make it out of the bag b/c we've still not had enough rain in that part of the state to settle the dust. But. . . . we have gotten several good showers on the corn fields across the county so they're looking good! I'm hoping the combine leaves plenty for the geese!!
