I have only been out two days but heard plenty of gobbles each time. Last time out was last monday and heard 4 birds on the roost hammering pretty hard. When they hit the ground they don't say much. Hopefully I can hunt this coming week, new job kinda screwed my turkey hunting this year.

Andy, I am not that far from you I think. West Hanover township. The last two weeks, four days and hearing nothing! Almost like they just turned off!

My father and I are very disgusted this year, just not hearing the birds we used to.

Seeing but not hearing. Well almost not hearing.......they are waking each other in the a.m. but after that it gets pretty quite in the woods. Just this past Saturday heard a couple in the field I was watching but that was the first for much of the season and they were really just talking to each other.

Not real good hunting from that area, but have been seeing turkeys almost everytime out just not close enough or not able to bring them in to my location.

One more Saturday to go, best of luck to everyone.

Andy
