BowtechTurkeyHunter
Gun Vault makes a great safe as far as security ... the main reason I buy a safe is for protection of my firearms ... I dont think that Gun Vault has much if any fire protection ... but if your homeowners covers em if they get damaged in a fire anyhow then its not a big concern unless you have som irreplaceable gun ... just a thought ... for about 200 bucks more you can get a nice safe with fire protection and still have the same features ... I know guys who hang there handguns on the door of there safes just like that with homemade stuff works perfectly and doesnt interfere with the integrity of there safes ... also how many guns do you have and do any of them have scopes? I use our safe for more then just guns ... we have very important papers in ours would you need a safe for any of that or do you already have that covered? ... anyhow just some things to concider ... I do like there product as far as security it great just some other things to concider ... Steve
Jeramie
Personally id save up the extra $200 and get a better safe. It really doesn't look like that bad of a product but if you are storing papers, jewelry, etc in there the fire rating would be VERY important. It would also help to detour theft being they weigh so much more. Ive seen some great deals for just a couple hundred more including one at Sam's this past Saturday. Bass Pro even has some good deal. Id shop that one if I were you... Just my $.
