buckee
works on any picture on the Internet and is so simple. Simply right click on any picture you want on the Internet, COPY, and PASTE it in your post, BUT: make sure you have WYSIWYG turned on in the edit options-message editor options of your User CP, or instructions won't work. Go into User CP (It's on the left side of the screen, when you see it click it.) Pick Edit Options, scroll down until you see Message Editor Options and pick WYSIWYG. [save Changes] when you're done Thanks LEO EXAMPLE: I just copied and pasted this in here There are so far 5 or 6 ways of posting pictures now in here. buckee
It's going to take us all a while to learn about all the advantages of this new program. Once we get rid of all the disadvantages of some limits not being set right yet, that is

wtnhunt
Yep Steve, that is the easiest way to get pic in a post. Think the new format once most people learn more about it will become more appreciated.
Leo
Those instructions about the User CP look familiar. Make sure you all [save Changes] when you're done. There are quite a few options in the User CP. It's quite flexible. I actually like the new board software, though right now I feel I'm in the minority. buckee
WAIT A MINUTE!!! Stop the music!! Steve, are you saying that this new forums software might, just might, have some advantages to the old system? :D Poppycock! Yes, I know it's really hard to fathom right now, but yes I have noticed a few rather redundant features though, and a whole lot of settings and limits that need changing still, but all in all, it's got some pretty cool features. wtnhunt
Ok, my images are all jpg. How do I get them changed to the other settings so my pics will come in here? Thanks for all help. Dawg No need to change them Tom. Jpegs will work in here like they always have, you might however have to resize them so they are not over the size limits. toddyboman
cool it worked but i coouldn't get a picture from my pictures to paste THis will only work with pictures located on the internet. To get pictures off of "MY PICTURES" which are the pictures on your computer, you will have to either. Host the picutres on realtree or some other hosting website like photobucket. OR Click on the "MANAGE ATTACHMENTS" button thats below the post box and then browse your computer for the picture you are wanting to post. buckee
It works for all the pics in your Photo Post Gallery Yeah, your pics on your computer will have to be either entered as an attachment directly from your PC files, or uploaded to a hosting site first, and then to here. If so, it won't work for that. They have to be Hosted somewhere on the Internet.
unioncountyslayer
No Steve, I'm trying to copy and paste pics right off of the internet. I'll copy a pic off of photobucket, then when I try to paste in the post box Paste is not an option. Been this way ever since the change. I even tried pasting the pic you posted and it still no Paste option.
