Nick
I have a Hypertech Power Programmer 3 just like new, in the box with manuals. This programmer allows you to adjust your top-speed limiter, engine RPM rev limiter, cooling fan on/off temperatures, transmission adjustments, speedometer/odometer/part throttle shifting corrections for larger tires, and you can change it back to stock anytime. Its an excellent programmer and will help with fuel economy if adjusted properly. I have no use for it since I sold the vehicle it was in. And yes, it was returned to stock settings. I want $150 shipped to your door. I think it was around $300-$320 new.
Texan_Til_I_Die
Will it only work on the 03 models?
Nick
Unfortunately, yes, which is stupid.....just another way to make more money. We plugged it into my buddys 04 sierra and it read the vin number and said it wasn't usable in that vehicle.
okiedog
Thats a good buy Nick. I've got a Hypertech on my Dodge, and the 1st time I just started it after programming I was amazed at the difference. The engine idled so much smoother. It was like changing an old dirty fuel and air filter. Good product, and great price!
Nick
Yes, it does work well. I need to get rid of this thing.....somebody make me an offer.
Shaun_300
Darn it, I would have bought it off ya if I would have got the 03 I was looking at before this truck. Dang it!
MUDRUNNER
You may want to double check Nick, but I know some of the programmers can't be used for more than one vehicle.Once they are used on a truck it will only work on that same truck and not on anything with a different VIN #.I could be wrong, but I thought it was the Hypertech brand. Nick
No, It will work on another vehicle as long as the vehicle it was previously in was returned to stock settings. Heres what It says on the box.... Can I use a power programmer to program more than one vehicle? Yes, but you can program only one vehicle at a time. If you want to try tuning a friends vehicle, you just reprogram your vwehicle back to stock, and then the second vehicle, as long as it is the same application and uses the same part number
MUDRUNNER
Ahhh,I see.My bad.It must be the Superchips one that works on just one vehicle.Hope you get it sold. These things do work to free up a few extra ponies and help with fuel mileage.
