Squirrelhunter91
Ranger.. It's a Wildview Xtreme II
WIwhitetailhunter
Wierd that's for sure. I don't think it's a bird though. The edges are too straight/smooth. Could it be a piece of wood? Who else knows where your camera is? Could be someone messing with you.
Guest Herd_Bull
I was going to say a deer antler, like the deer was feeding beside the camera,...but it'd be kinda early for a big tine like that to be there...so i don't know what that would be... RangerClay
Ranger.. It's a Wildview Xtreme II I'm not familiar with that camera. Is the trigger time fast enough to catch a bird? That is why I asked the question, if it was a cuddy I might say a bird. Either way I would point another camera back at this one and see if you could capture the person who is screwing with your camera or pull it ASAP. It just doesn't look natural to me. Yep, that's exactly what I was thinking when I saw the pic too. The trigger time on all camera's is too slow to pick up a bird flying past, that close, unless something else out front set off the camera, and the bird flew by, just as it was going off. But it doesn't look like a bird to me. I wasn't joking when I said longbow, because it looks like a perfectly sanded piece of wood to me. Like someone was out shooting, and was passing their bow or walking stick in front of the camera to make it go off.
wtnhunt
because it looks like a perfectly sanded piece of wood to me. Was kind of thinking the same thing, piece of wood of some sort whether it be a longbow or whatever. If that camera is not where you can keep an eye on it, might pull it Joe. Steve is right for the most part that the camera is not going to be fast enough to catch a bird and it be that sharp and clear, only camera that might catch a bird and be that clear would be a high end homebrew. Dont think that is any type of bird either. Looks like someone was at your camera.
Squirrelhunter91
The cam is the only trail cam I have. I bring it upstate with me every weekend and keep it in the yard here in Rockland. It's set up at my spot where I deer hunt and the road is roughly 100 yards away. It's on private property and a trespasser is possible. We've had our share of trespassers, but mostly on ATV's and dirtbikes. I'm not sure what I'm gonna do about this. The spot where I set the cam up is just a killer spot. There are two funnels around it and anything and everything going thru the funnels have to cross this field.
Mirage
those deer are finaly on to you !! Run when you get your picture next time it is a booby trap!!! hahaha no im j/k not sure what that is
Tom2008
Its looks like a piece of wood to me. You can tell the width of it by the picture. Its is really smoot and I'm thinking it may be a tresspasser. Try setting it up in the other direction like griz said and see what you get.
