brad dryden
Their was a big thing about this in the muzzleloader form. The electricity comes from a little 9volt battery I havent heard any one from here having one but people say they have shot them and like them and others dont like them becouse its getting to advanced for them. wtnhunt
Might try a search in the muzzleloader room. There was a bit of information on this topic posted in there some time back.
Jeramie
I dont like the idea either. Seriously, its called primitive. Granted if its legal to each his own but ill stick with my primers......
christsavedme
First I have heard of it.....but just from the title I don't think I would like it!

LifeNRA
Yeah I just posted something about this in the muzzleloader room last night. First I have ever seen it. Oh well!
riverBottom
Just saw the commercial, not sure what to think about them. I think I'll stick to my primers. As long as its legal though I would have no problem with anyone in my hunting camp using one.
Guest gt2003
I'll stick with my little #11 cap and loose 777 powder. With my luck the battery would always be dead. No reason to take the chance. Greg
Flintlock1776
It is the value of choice heck, don't like it? Don't use it but don't bash it. If it is not for you, just move one. I am in support of any legal means of hunting whether I do it or nor i.e. Trapping- ain't my thing but I ain't against it. Hunting community needs to stick together. Electronic muzzle loader has its merits.

The original post sounds to me that he would like to hear opinions and that is what he got. I'm sure there is plenty of hunters out there that do not shoot inlines either. If there was negative comments, I missed them. Just because people do not care for them, doesn't mean they are against others using them. If you have been in here longer, you would know the quality and support that our members give each other. too_
PA_RIDGE_RUNNER
My opinion is I don't want one. I am a bit prejudiced against CVA anyhow. Here are my reasons I don't want one. 1. It is electric 2. Would be awfully hard to clean and not get moisture in the electrical components. 3. Loading one would be the same as putting a cap on the nipple or a 209 in its receptacle and then put it on safe and proceed to load the rifle. Man having to put absolute trust in a safety mechanism isn't for me. 4 it's a CVA
Flintlock1776
If you don't shoot it? How can you tell? I've have CVA, very reliable and cost effective. I have a Remington ML as it exactly matches the fit and feel of my 30-06 SS Rem. Not likely they would put this out wiothout good testing. too_pointer
Why don't you just buy one, and report to everyone how good it is. I have a TC Encore, and wouldn't trade it for all the other makes period. It isn't because I don't like other makes, it's because I am familiar and confident in my TC. Whats so hard for you to understand too_
